INTRODUCTORY SOFTWARE TESTING PROGRAM

Software testing appeared long time ago; however along with currently progressive development of information technology, software testing plays an important role in the project life cycle and has been improved strongly and prospectively. The software testing actually is for people who have insight knowledge to ensure several phases in software manufacturing such as business analysis, software design, database, installation, deployment, etc… to complete seemly.

Nowadays, testing is necessary for all projects. The demand on testing is bigger and bigger that requires testers have real knowledge meeting the international testing standards plentifully. However software testing methods in many companies are variety. Some projects do testing by experience which does not have enough confidence to ensure quality required by customers or does not have enough reliable basic for final software products. Big customers often require software companies applying international standards that is proven by the testers getting a certificate recognized worldwide.

On the demand and the role of software testing – the important part of project development cycle, FMIT® Institute designed a program called Certified Software Testing Professionals - CSTP® based on the international software testing of ISTQB® to equip learners with solid understanding and be confident in the international examination.

The program is divided into 2 modules in which Module 1 includes practical techniques necessary for working requirements of software testing jobs. Module 2 focuses on preparing solid understanding that helps learners be ready to take part in the international examination CTFL®.

Certified software testing professional (CSTP®) includes subjects which are designed following ISTQB® international standard and focuses on equipping practical knowledge and skills to become a professional software tester. It includes foundation of theories, testing methods, designing and implementing for testing, popular tools used in testing and testing methods on cell phones.

The program is designed closely to actual works required in software testing environment. The program duration includes 15 hours for theories, 6 hours for practical exercises and 9 hours for practicing test cases.
